The Ashes 2005

Being a true Brit, I cannot go without mentioning the Ashes win by Englands Cricket team! I know I, and many others around the world spent the day with their ears pinned to the radio listening to the final days play – and its great to see the Ashes back on british soil!

I am sure there are students around the world who follow cricket – what do you think about the win? The fall of Australia, I think, marks a new and exciting era for the sport!

yeah it is right. i want to add a sentense to that “THE RISE AND FALL — VISUALLY SIMULTANEOUSLY”

I think, as we saw in the Not-So-Super ICC Series, Australia still belongs at the top of the Test table.

Nonethleless, full credit to England for taking back the Ashes. The Poms deserved it.

I’ll just add this, though: can’t wait for 2006-07, when the Aussies reclaim what is rightfully theirs! 🙂
