Northwest Missouri State University’s On-Campus Graduate Programs

If you’re looking for an in-person graduate program for the upcoming Summer 2021 semester, consider applying for one of Northwest Missouri State University’s top-notch programs which will be offered during the term! The application deadline is next Monday, March 1st. Northwest is committed to ensuring the safety of its students, following COVID-19 guidelines and keeping cases down to a minimum. We know that many of you are eager to get back to the in-person class experience and this is a fantastic opportunity to do so. So, what programs are being offered?

Master of Science in Applied Computer Science

Any students who are interested in a career in the software industry should strongly consider this program. The faculty and staff at the School of Computer Science and Information Systems are highly-qualified and experienced in the field of computer science, and they are dedicated to helping students succeed.

Program Coursework

Students can complete the following coursework in four terms, including an eight-week summer session:

Master of Science in Applied Health Sports Science

This is the perfect program for students who are interested in the field of sports medicine. Through the program you will gain the skills needed to succeed in the respective field such as the physical, psychological and environmental aspects of human performance. Students can complete coursework in four terms, including an eight-week summer session.

Designed with the IT-oriented student in mind, this program offers an excellent foundation for students who wish to work in the industry. Admissions Requirements

In order to be considered for any of the three above programs, students must:

  • Have a three or four year undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Have at least a 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA) on 4.00 scale
  • Have at least a 285 GRE score
  • Complete English language assessment (TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5 overall, Duolingo 95)
  • Have majored or minored in information systems, computer science, business or engineering

The deadline to apply for the upcoming Summer 2021 term is March 1. Students must submit the application on or before this date and will have until March 15 to deliver any supporting documents to Northwest. To learn more about Northwest, visit the school’s profile!
