Canada will allow off-campus work?
Posted on May 10th, 2006 by adminIt has emerged that the new minister of citizenship and immigration for Canada, Monte Solberg, is following through with a pledge he made to make it easier for international students to study in Canada. The pilot program to allow international students to work off-campus began in 2003 – and following the success of this, the program is now being introduced across the whole of Canada.
This will allow students who have been in Canada for at least 6 months, the opportunity to work up to 20 hours a week off campus!
Certainly a welcomed move to make things easier for international students!
