Sixty-three percent of international students rely on personal or family support in order to fund their US education. Because international students are not eligible for federal aid and pay out of state tuition at many schools, they generally end up paying more for their education than their domestic peers. If they find that personal and family support is not enough, they may be at a loss as to what to do. Fortunately, you do have some options beyond these.

This infographic explores these options through Renata and Cristian, two international students who must discover alternate options when it comes to funding their education after they find that they cannot rely on personal and family support to fund them. Through work, scholarships, fellowships, home government aid, and private loans, Renata and Cristian manage to find the funds that they need in order to pay for their US education.
