How to Use the InternationalStudent.com School Search Tool

Posted on March 24th, 2017 by Bryanna Davis

Did you know that InternationalStudent.com has a school search tool to help you find a college or university that will meet specific criteria? Best of all, it’s a free and quick service. Here are some quick steps on how to use the InternationalStudent.com school search tool.

First, you need to visit our school search page. From there you can filter schools in just three steps, here’s the breakdown:

  1. Field of Study: Select from a drop-down list of career programs which one you want to pursue. This will filter your search results to only show schools that offer the program you’re interested in. If you’re not sure which program you want to pursue, you can skip this step.
  2. School Location: Do you dream of studying in New York, or perhaps in California? Choose that state here! If you’re flexible on the location then you can also skip this step and receive school suggestions from throughout the US.
  3. Degree Level: What degree level will you be pursuing? Not every school offers a degree program for each level. Make sure you select this option so you can view results that best match what you need.

After you’ve selected the information you want, you can click “Search Now.” This will provide you with each school in the US that meets the specific criteria you listed. If you see a college or university on the list that you want more information on, then click that school. You will then be taken to their profile page where you can learn details including tuition, admission requirements, student and faculty stats, available programs, photos of the school, etc. You can even submit your contact information to request more information directly from that school- to do this you simply need to complete the form on the page that says “Request More Information.”
