Study Hospitality in Florida

With some of the most beautiful beaches and best weather in the United States who wouldn’t want to study hospitality in Florida? Tourism and Hospitality are very important industries in Florida’s economy because they generate millions of dollars every year. What are some of the best cities to live and study hospitality in you may wonder? Miami, Orlando, Daytona and Tampa are the top cities for tourism in Florida according to USA Today Travel. There are many tourist attractions along with great schools located in these cities making it possible for international students to study hospitality in Florida.

Miami has some of the best beaches in the country and is in close proximity to the Florida Keys. Miami is also known for its nightlife, warm weather, Cuban and international flare, great art and posh stores. Orlando is home to some of the biggest tourist attractions in the country such as Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Discovery Cove. Orlando is also known for its shopping opportunities, nightlife, and exquisite resorts. Daytona Beach is a huge spring break destination for many university students in the States. Families also vacation in Daytona during summer and enjoy the water parks, fishing, and Daytona International Speedway. Tampa’s beaches have been recognized by publications such as National Geographic for their beauty. This city also draws tourists with attractions like Busch Gardens and Glazer Children’s Museum. The hospitality industry plays and huge role in the economy of each of these four cities giving international students a chance to observe the industry first-hand. There are also plentiful internship opportunities available for hospitality students because many of the resorts located in these cities are always looking for new interns to assist them.

For any international student considering where they want to study hospitality in the US, Florida should be on the top of their list! Not only will you be able to experience these great attractions for yourself, but you will also be able to observe and intern for some of the country’s biggest hospitality companies.
