Jail for cheats

Posted on October 10th, 2005 by InternationalStudentGuru

Now this is very interesting! The Chinese government is considering bringing in a law that would punish exam cheats and could even see them get jail sentences of between 3-7 years. It’s a strange one, on the one hand this sounds a little harsh, but on the other hand I have personally been in the situation when I have worked my ass off to get a good grade in an exam, and have known a fellow student cheated and got a higher grade. Would be interested to see what you all thought?
